The RDA Constitution was last revised in 2011, thus the Committee has undertaken a review as stated at the AGM in 2021. The revised Constitution is presented on the RDA Website and we look forward to the Members approving it at the AGM on 27 April 2022.

The key changes are as follows:

  • Updating and clarifying the aims, purpose and objectives of the Association

  • Streamlining the membership groups

  • Enabling rolling membership subscriptions

  • Facilitating online subscription payments

  • Updating the Committee structure

  • Updating meeting arrangements to enable, amongst other things, remote meetings to take place.
