Talk: ‘Rooted’ – Sarah Langford in conversation with Catherine Larner – Fri 8 July 7.30pm

Sarah Langford is a former barrister, and now a mother and farmer living locally.

She explores the rewilding debate, and organic farming, but also shows how regenerative farming is effective and efficient. She has much to say about care of the land and how existing recent methods of intensive farming are so destructive and counterproductive.

Sarah has visited us before, talking about her experiences in criminal law, and she is the most brilliant speaker! Warm, engaging, intelligent, inspiring.

She has been featured on Radio 4’s Start the Week earlier this month and there have been numerous articles in the national press about the arguments she raises on the future of farming and food production, care for the land, and what the debate means for all of us.

Tickets (which include a copy of the book) have to be purchased via the internet, and as soon as possible (to avoid disappointment and assist with planning!). The link is here:

The event is also on the Browsers Bookshop website and Facebook page, and on Twitter and Instagram.
